PARIS TEAM

Argelia Jimenez
Founder and Art Director @argeliajp
Hello guapas ! I'm Argelia the mother of Casa Poma. I adopted the Parisian life 15 years ago, but I grew up in the picturesque neighborhood of Coyoacan in Mexico City. I'm crazy about alpacas, ancient traditions, flea markets, cooking, and of course, knitwear! I met Cleida, the head of the team in the Puno region, through a project for Heifer Peru 8 years ago. Casa Poma was born thanks to a great team deeply engaged in a great cause. Thanks to Cleida, Herminia, Mariluz, and the 153 women who are part of this family.

Kate Murphy
Visual & Video Designer
My name is Kate and I am originally from Southern California, but I have made Paris my new home for the past few years now. I was first introduced to the brand a year ago through a mutual friend, and I instantly fell in love with the design, quality, and history.
I am a graphic designer specializing in image and video creation. I collaborate with Argelia on the communications to create content that captures the heart and soul of Casa Poma. It is an absolute pleasure to be able to work together and produce creative and innovative storytelling for a brand as special as Casa Poma.

Lucie DASILVA
Designer and many other things @luludslv
I started working at Casa Poma at its beginnings for my second-year internship in fashion school, and I was fortunate enough to continue working for the brand as a freelancer. My sensitivity for knitwear and my organizational skills immediately pleased the creator, and I, for my part, greatly appreciated working by her side a pleasant and caring person. I am happy to be part of the Casa Poma team and to have contributed my part because I really appreciate the style and ethical values that the brand defends. It is always a pleasure to work alongside Argelia for her good humor and positivity, which are reflected in the style of her creations.

Edith Osorio
NLP coach
My name is Edith Osorio, I am an NLP practitioner (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), and I live and work in Paris.
My first encounter with Casa Poma was through their raw material, wool, fiber, and fabric in a Parisian pop-up store. A gentle softness, a texture from different places, a unique feeling, a great emotion.
Affection and friendship with Argelia arose spontaneously. And so, naturally, the desire to accompany Casa Poma with NLP was also born. A vibrant, joyful, creative sharing where each step forms a beautiful path.
Thank you, Casa Poma!
PERU TEAM

Cleida Incacutipa
My name is Cleida Incacutipa, founder of Iñaq Artisan Community. I live in Puno, I love nature, the harmony between alpacas, the snow, the mountains, the sun and the plants of puna. I spend my life working alongside the women of the Andes, enjoying our culture, art and its colors. I met Argelia five years ago at the Peru Moda fair, and now we have decided to unite our ideas and experiences in a beautiful project called Casa Poma. To me, a project that prints the daily life of the women of the Peruvian Andes for the world.

Herminia Mollocondo
I’m Herminia and I belong to the Andean Alpaca Association. I live in the heights of Puno with my alpacas, it’s a sacred animal for us, and we take care of them and as they take care of us. I have a wonderful family that accompanies me in all my projects. Now with my organization, we are excited to share beautiful fabrics of pure 100% natural and handmade alpaca.

Mariluz Mamani
My name is Mariluz Mamani, and I’m a member of the Chuspa de Oro Association of Artisans of Vilavila. I live in the high mountains of Puno, where I take care of my alpacas, spinning and knitting sweaters, shawls, scarves, gloves and hats to keep warm. I admire the women in our French team for their appreciation of our alpaca fiber, and I feel that their heart is like ours - connected to the natural world. Love to all!

Irenia Ticona
I come from the Puno highlands, and I love to knit. I’m very curious wherever I go, and I always look for novelties in design and in fabric, where I like to create new points of view and combination of colors, so that my clothes are different and beautiful. Would you ever like to visit and knit with me?
